The tale of seasons about Soft Sunshine and Fair Rain.
This mixed media painting is inspired by The Tale of Genji, a classic work of Japanese literature written Murasaki Shikibu. Muraski was a noblewoman and lady-in-waiting in the 11th century.
Also I used as inspiration the Japanese painting with rapid brush strokes and light soft tones made from natural pigments. The panels resemble the antique Japanese paper sliding doors, usually painted to depict the landscape or various scenes at the Imperial House of Japan.
