Appropriately titled "A Magnificent Challenge", this painting was inspired by the thick forest of cypress trees and beautiful rocky shoreline along the 15th hole at Cypress Point Golf Course in California. This piece was created by referencing a handful of photographs to form a unique landscape painting.
This painting showcases the artist's attention to detail in the breaking waves, fractures in rock, and mow lines on the green. Several months of studio time were dedicated to this painting.
Professional grade oil paints were used to create this original painting on canvas. The concept is continued to the side borders of the painting, so a frame is not required to display it. A wire mount is installed on the back so it is ready to hang when you receive it.
