Original artwork description:

"Beauty is a form of Genius, indeed, it is higher than Genius because it needs no explanation. It is one of the great facts of the world, like sunlight, spring, the reflection in the dark water of that silver seashell we call the moon.". Infatuated by this phrase of the famous writer and poet Oscar Wilde, I made this portrait in pencil on cardboard in a contemporary figurative style, inspired by a young man whose lively and magnetic gaze told me about himself and his soul without uttering a word.
