One could say that one of the protagonists of this work is painting itself: by repeatedly overlaying layers, using the various techniques such as drawings with oil pastels and pencils, collage, stray and splashed paint, a composition, an atmosphere is created. Various figures settle in this pictorial space, they are part of this universe, communicate in their own way with it as well as with each other.
