In spring or early summer, I try to go to the countryside. To walk in the woods, relax, gain energy and draw._x000D_ There are a lot of lilac bushes and cherry bushes growing on country plots. These bushes bloom almost simultaneously. And give a magnificent harmony of colour. White cherry blossoms and lilac-purple flowers of lilacs. It is amazingly beautiful!_x000D_ We have this tradition, I don't know when it started. It is believed that to find a flower with five petals is to be lucky. Because by nature, lilacs have four petals. And as children, we used to believe that we had to eat such a ‘lucky’ flower. Good thing they were rare)_x000D_ I recently gave a friend another small watercolour with lilacs. The friend was very pleased with it!_x000D_ I think that such a gift will be to everyone's liking.
