This expansive view can be found in beautiful Swaledale in the North Yorkshire Dales. The sweeping hillsides, over which the shadows of the clouds spread, take the eye to the further reaches of the dale; the barns and dry stone walls add solidity and pattern to the landscape. Swaledale is a favourite piece of the English countryside and this view presents several of its characteristics. The barns, walls and villages of the Dales seem to have grown up out of the earth.

The painting will be carefully wrapped and packaged in a strong, cardboard box and will include a Certificate of Authentication.
