Artwork description:

I'm fascinated as to how I can turn a still life arrangement such as a bunch of stylised flowers into something intricately decorative yet simple and modern with the use of a restricted colour palette.
I carved this linocut a few years ago but due to a short attention span I never finished the edition, here I have made a pastel mint coloured background with pink and yellow flowers. As I hand mix my inks there will be tonal differences and not a uniform block colour, all signs of a hand crafted piece of art and not a digital print.
All my Linocuts are designed, cut and printed by me, I rarely produce editions of more than 25 so you can be certain that you’ll be receiving a very limited and often one off handpressed print.

Somerset satin 250gsm and oil based ink
