What do we know about Jesuits? Did you know that their order was established almost 500 years ago and that Jesuits in 16th century went across the globe spreading not only Christianity, but also astronomy and many other Western sciences? The Jesuits have also contributed to scientific fields as various as magnetism, optics, and electricity. They reached as far as China and Japan, Canada, Ecuador, Peru, Mexico, Paraguay and Brazil. Jesuit’s Journey was definitely not easy, but for sure it was a fascinating one.

Complex technique of multi-layered oil paint of slightly different tone of purple creates a three-dimensional illusion of some sort of a building floating above the ground and a door at the bottom of the artwork.

The artwork is framed in custom made wooden frame of golden colour. Framed size 116x116x3 cm. The artwork will be shipped securely packed in a box.
