This is my oil on canvas painting of a Highland Cow at a Scottish Loch in Autumn. This painting measures 16 by 12 inches.
As I stared out over the still waters of the Scottish Loch, the warm oranges and yellows of the autumn leaves seemed to dance on the water's surface. It was a magical sight, one that I knew I had to capture on canvas.
And then I saw her. A Highland Cow, standing majestically on the bank of the Loch. Her shaggy fur glinted in the light of the setting sun, and I knew that she was the perfect subject for my painting.
