Miniature painted paper collage framed in an antique lorgnette (opera glasses).
This piece hangs on a wall like a normal painting would- you just need two nails/screws.

This piece is an exploration of the stories that 'haunt' found objects.
For me these antique opera glasses carried the spectre of their former use (to view theatrical performances in another time-period). It is easy to imagine the ghostly hand of their former owner holding them up to squinting eyes to peer from a stuffy opera box.
In the world behind the lenses a literal haunting is witnessed, taking place amongst the audience of the play.
