This is an oil painting on a deep edge canvas.
I painted this for an exhibition in Cambridge called Cambridge Envisaged. Cambridge is a city of historic buildings and architecture, beautiful in their entirety, but also made up of small motifs that are often overlooked. I wanted to focus on the harmony and balance inherent in the combination of small motifs that play such a pivotal part in the overall architectural whole.
The painting has painted sides so there is no need for framing and I have signed it on the front.
It is fitted with D rings and wire so it is all ready to hang.
