Making ends meet as we orbit the sun. Again.
‘A man half dead’ portrays a man caught in a seemingly unescapable cycle. The days pass by, each indistinguishable from another. The keys on the keyboard have no symbols on them: a metaphor perhaps for needless complications, or of meaningless results.
The rat and two moths could well describe a world of decay and rot. However, they also reveal a warmth, a companionship amongst the species: we are all in this together!
All of our lives are sad, but in the crannies, nestled amidst fears and anger, can be found a world, worlds in fact, of an enchanting complexity and of endless fascination . In this vast tapestry, we have the fortune to be threaded.
