Original artwork description:

I live by the beach and love the beach! It is of course utterly inspirational and a lot of works originate there, ideas, and just looking at a vast expanse of water settles the mind.
In this mixed media, watercolor with ink, I have tried to capture that, the rowdiness of a beach that is still utter tranquillity.

The birds are ever present, the waves, the colors, the jellyfish (this time of year the red ones that sting) and small minnows, I hope you can almost smell it.
This piece measures 50 cm x 70 cm (19.75" x 27.5") and is painted on a piece of bright white 300 g watercolor paper with 2 deckled edges.
I have signed it on the front, and called it "a good day for the gulls".
