Science tells us that our species originated in hot Africa. For thousands of years, people have been spreading over the planet, adapting to a new reality, changing the colour of their skin. _x000D_ I had never really thought about it before, and I was just attracted to the facial features of African girls. I don't particularly appreciate painting portraits, but I am really into the play of colors and the variety of tones found on the skin of the inhabitants of the black continent. _x000D_ Look at that girl! Her dark eyes stare dreamily into the distance, a slight smile on her lips. What is she thinking, what is she dreaming about? We can only guess._x000D_ A few years ago, I exhibited works devoted to African, mulatto, and Asian women. _x000D_ To my surprise, all the pictures were sold out. It turned out that I was not the only one who admired the beauty of African women. _x000D_ Time passed, and a passionate desire arose to repeat the exotic portraits. _x000D_ This is the first painting, and many more will like it. I have an idea to exhibit each _x000D_ piece in two versions - on paper and canvas.
