Painting by Svetlana Iskosmosa (art_iskosmosa) As children, we perceive the world with a sense of wonder and awe that is often lost in adulthood. One of the most simple yet magical childhood experiences is watching soap bubbles dancing in the air. Soap bubbles and the child serve as an image of the transience of the moment, because children quickly become adults who need only a moment.

In my art I try to convey the joy of the moment. The colors of my paintings are bright and sunny, I believe that art should carry a positive message to the viewer and charge him with positivity. I combine a minimalistic background of pink and blue color with a realistically drawn figure, thus emphasizing the main character and his inner world. Pink symbolizes dreaminess and infantilism, while blue symbolizes the vast ocean of possibilities open to every person. I also use bright yellow, especially in reflexes and highlights, creating a sense of sunlight and warmth.
