Original artwork description:

A first more figurative watercolour was made in-situ in the small town of Salies de Béarn in south-west France. Then I made this one using the first one as a study. I removed everything that was not essential and sublimated the colours in order to communicate the atmosphere and convey an emotion rather than describing the actual reality. I used a 300g Arches paper and extrafine watercolour pigments. It is framed and ready to hang. The inside dimensions of the mount are: 38.5x53.5 cm

Materials used:

extrafine watercolour pigments
