So Queen Victoria is still on the throne!

A subject specifically chosen to celebrate the maritime heritage of Sidmouth in Devon and yes, in total contrast to my contemporary water paintings.

This type of subject matter involves careful research and has for years been a favourite to paint. I've always been interested in local history too and know this bit of coastline like the back of my hand.

This particular painting is also my homage to Stanhope Forbes (Newlyn School).

Finalist in the American Art Awards 2019.

This painting is supplied in quite a traditional, but with a contemporary twist, hand finished frame. If you would prefer to purchase without the frame that's fine but do please contact me first as there would be a reduction in the price.
