Everyone has different dreams. I dream in winter of summer, bright sunshine and warm sea. Sometimes I draw a sea wave at dawn, sometimes a sandy beach, sometimes exotic fish or turtles emerge from my thoughts.
And right now, out of my dreams came this old felucca. This picture shows a bright southern afternoon, lots of sunshine, blue sky, sea, and small Mediterranean houses. Where is this? Maybe in Greece, maybe in Spain, French Provence..... The main thing is that it's warm and romantic.
This seascape is painted in oil, using various painting techniques. Partly by brush, partly by mastichin. The thick mastichin strokes give it more expressiveness. Look at the clouds, as if they were sculpted rather than painted.
The painting is framed in a natural wood baguette, sold in a baguette
