Ink Resist (an old technique which I have tailored to suit my style). My paintings undergo several processes to reach the end result which is unpredictable and quite delightful to create

Ink resist paintings have a unique surface texture. They can be fairly smooth and matte (depending upon how much paint was applied in the first instance) and can appear a little shabby or unrefined. For me this is very appealing and very much the hallmark of this type of painting

I have been producing Ink Resist paintings since 2015 although I have been playing with the process on and off for about ten years. It is quite unique
