Original artwork description:

'A Day Trip To Remember...' is an original artwork drawn in inks and pencil on hand stained paper with gold foil detail measuring 195mm x 145mm in size.

This study shows a row of east coast Scottish seaside cottages right beside the sea with three wee boats moored on the beach front and the washing on the line. I've added some gold foil highlights with a golden moon above the rooftops. I've seen lots of this type of scene along the coast where I live so it's a delight to be able to draw them and evoke the memory of the beautiful scene on paper.
