An golden image of the moody grey clouds over the sunset colours of the ocean. Light grey and gold make this a neutral tones image that is both dramatic and calming. Ideal as a statement piece over a sofa or above a bed.
The image was made on a morning to remember on the clifftops of the Isle of Skye at Lealt. The tiny islands og Raasay, Eilean Taighe and the top end of Rona sit on the horizon bathed in misty cloud. A mixed weather day in early September. You can just about see the moon struggling behind the mist.
Listed here on Canvas but also available on paper to capture the golden metallic highlights.

About My Work
I am passionate about using luxury papers that hold their colours for a lifetime! For these special large prints of my work I use beautiful museum quality Canvas and the highest quality inks. I do all my own printing, having spent years learning this skill I prefer to maintain control of the colour representation at all stages to ensure you get a truly handmade image.

A Note on Canvases
Canvases are unframed and unmounted, they need to be stretched or framed once you get them.
The canvases are matte varnished and come with 1.5 inch (4cm) white border for use in stretching round the sides of your frame. If you prefer gallery wrap please get in touch. Once ready, they are carefully wrapped in acid free tissue then shipped in a sturdy art tube to ensure safe delivery.
