A Day At The Beach 9x12 Oil Pastel on 400 gram aquarell paper_x000D_ It seems a dark depressing picture but if you look at it juxtaposed with a cheesy pink IKEA room it gives the room weight. A lot of people choose typical abstract neutral tones wall art which makes a room feel show roomy in only my small insignificant ridiculous opinion. _x000D_ Check out my bio on the my condition and hallucinations as this is a classic example of that. It’s oil pastel and I just smudge it on paper and image appears. _x000D_ Because it’s oil pastel and a little bit of oil paint this needs to be framed behind glass. You can get glass that’s non reflective invisible. Most paintings in museum have this but you wouldn’t know. Unless you went very close to it which I do and set the alarm off 😆 I’m a London-based artist, and my work often reflects vivid and surreal imagery inspired by my unique experience with REM intrusion—a condition where dream-like visions can appear while I’m awake. My paintings explore the boundary between waking reality and the dream world, using layered compositions to create a sense of depth and movement.
