A Cornish Village is an original linocut print by Fiona Carver. Inspired by a little village in Cornwall it brings back memories of pastel coloured cottages, sails racing across the sea and tree covered hills dipping down to the water.
It is made using 5 hand carved lino blocks, one for each colour. The image is printed, layer by layer, with an antique cast iron press. It uses oil based inks on archival paper. As each one is printed by hand there may be slight variations, making each print an individual artwork.
It comes archivally mounted in a pale cream board and wrapped in cellophane. Unframed.
