Original artwork description:

I go to Fowey at least once a month when I'm in Cornwall and never tire of painting it. This time I've focused on the buildings around the main quay, with some artistic licence; hopefully they'll be recognisable to those who know this lovely town.

This is mixed media with layers of paper and paint built up to make the image, then varnished with a lovely gloss finish. I've left the paper rough rather than smooth to give texture and added more texture with a palette knife. I've painted the sides a dove grey and it's strung on the back ready to hang without the need of a frame.

Measurements are 48cm x 48cm x 2cm.

I've signed the back and it will come with a signed certificate of authenticity but please let me know if you'd like it signed on the front too and I'll squeeze a signature in the bottom right hand corner.
