The fourth in a set of 18 images triggered by an old, painted, 'family crest', in St Wyllow's church, near Polruan in Cornwall.
As with all the other works in the series, the image starts life as a 'physical painting', using acrylics, inks, and graphite, before being scanned and finally developed into the finished print.
Working in this way, the physical properties that you can only get from using 'real materials', can be combined with the flexibility and invention inherent in digital imagery.
Giclee print on rag mould paper.
