This image was inspired by a Roald Dahl story that involved someone who wanted to be in an orchestra and so conducted to his record collection of classical music. I was part of an exhibition called A Twist on Dahl - a collection of interpretations.
A linocut was printed over an inked up impression of a record. I chose a vinyl that had good spacings that would work well with the composition.
Materials used:
printmaking inks on Somerset printmaking paper
