Artwork description:

This linocut design was inspired by shapes and angles in the courtyard garden of a friend of the artist. This edition (variation edition 2) combines the linocut print, in traditional black, with a screen-printed colour background (see photo showing the sacrificial stencils). The screen-print colours are pale 'ice cream' pink and pistachio. (I hope you like ice cream!) Hand printed and finished by the artist (not a reproduction) using artists' quality oil-based ink on artists' quality screen-printed acrylics on 250g/sq.m Clairefontaine Simili Japon archival paper. The image dimensions are approximately 17 cm (7 inches) square. The print is sold unframed for ease and economy of shipping, but some app-generated images are included here to help you visualise it framed. Despatched in a cardboard-backed A4 envelope.
