Artwork description:

This linocut design was inspired by shapes and angles in the courtyard garden of a friend. I have also produced colour prints of this design (separate listings), using two further blocks, but expert opinion of this work is that because it was designed for black and white, it works best in black and white. The jury is out on that one. What do you think? Hand printed by me (not a reproduction) using artists' quality oil-based ink on archival Zerkall 210g/sq.m printing paper. The image dimensions are approximately 17 cm (7 inches) square. Please note that as this is hand printed, each item is unique and may contain minor flaws, but that is part of the charm of a linocut print. I'll make sure you get a good one. The print is sold unframed. Despatched in a cardboard-backed A4 envelope.
