Near the Lake Havasu dam in Parker, California, lives a little band of wild burros who are descendants of those that were used as pack animals across the desert. This painting is a whimsical depiction of these little creatures--an imagining of one finding a flowering plant after a desert rain and enjoying a few of the sweet blossoms. Painted in a naive style, this painting is meant to be colorful and fun.

The work is varnished with a satin varnish. It will require a frame. The piece would be good for a child's room or other place where you want to be whimsical.
