A BRIGHTER DAY

OIL painting on stretched linen canvas measuring 80 cm x 80 cm x 2 .5 cm. ready to hang.

The theory of colours fascinates me and engulfs my work. Simultaneous contrasts help each colour sing. I make no excuse for over-painting some areas several times, its a necessity to create a unifying whole. Colours have been chosen to lift the spirit and bring positivity and happiness.

I've used this stunning piece of heavy weight linen, a superb textured surface, which I've stretched myself, and prepared with size, and primer to help retain the vibrancy of colour. The canvas is then finished with two coats of gloss varnish

Authenticity certificate included, and securely wrapped for transit.
