Original artwork description:

Inspired by the trees and at this time of year (May), the beautiful yellow fields near my home.
Also inspired by the poem by RS Thomas 'The Bright Field" - this is a theme I have returned to many times over the years since 2012. I heard it one day as I was driving along and was so taken with it that when I cam home I started to paint.

This image is chalk pastel on *textured pastel paper.
I use professional quality chalk pastels.

Available unframed.

*paper with a suede-like surface which holds the pastel beautifully. The image is 'fixed' with Winsor&Newton pastel fixative.
