This textural artwork is painted in a contemporary style, with a palette knife, which brings a looseness of expression and a tactile quality to this view of a copse, on the sweeping hills of the French countryside. It was inspired by journeying through France on a sunny spring day, whilst the clouds were swept across the blue sky by the breeze.

A lively and evocative representation of the fields of France, invoking the feeling of approaching summer.

This piece is painted on a canvas panel, in artist quality Michael Harding oil paint. It is signed and dated on the rear and comes with a signed Certificate of Authenticity.
It will be carefully wrapped for shipping, wrapped in tissue, a layer of foam board, bubble wrap and then placed in a sturdy cardboard box.
