ARTIST COMMENTS: this work was born on the morning of March 9, the evening before my partner brought me a beautiful bouquet of Mimosas for Women's Day, put them in a vase with fresh water and a little sugar, I enjoyed them all the evening. The next day I found myself having breakfast in front of them, as I like to do when I receive flowers. As is well known, Mimosa is not a flower that stays fresh for a long time, in fact they had already slightly changed the shade of yellow and some buds had fallen at the foot of the vase, but I realized that they were beautiful even so, and that image was typical of that day, almost ritual. I wanted to capture that beautiful moment and that intimate feeling of the morning of the day after the party.
