Original artwork description:

Oil on birch panel and a solid oak frame with deep navy sides and grey-white front enamel finish.

Part of a much longer anticipated series, I'll be making these wood panel 8in. x 8in. framed squares for some time to come. Birch or Walnut paint surface, solid oak frames. The first one, the little girl seen on my profile background, is no longer for sale. But I've created 3 more at the moment, and this is #2 in the series. They are signed on the back, sometimes in a unique way, but always an oil signature, numbered, and dated. If these really become a great staple of mine, you should collect the earlier ones because they will be more valuable with time.

All of them are inspired by a similar theme of beauty, simplicity, contemplation, and serenity, concentrating on a singular kind of subject, at times very close up, and somewhat abstracted, but in a realism style of work. So far...

Frames: Some have painted frames, some stained, and others simply coated and natural, but all of them are made from oak hardwood by hand by yours truly.

Materials used:

Wood, Oil Paint
