Original artwork description:

Fantasmino ( Little Ghost) is part of Le Moschine, a series of paintings inspired by old American cartoons from the 20s and 30s and surrealist lowbrow and pop painting. He is a white ghost in the dark, divided in two, lonely and inconsolable. White on black, the only light-colored element is its vermilion red heart.

He is probably the most melancholic character in the series; we could say that if it were a tarot card it would be The Melancholy.

The painting is on canvas, protected with a matte finish varnish is mounted in a gilded frame.

Materials used:

Acrylic paints, colored pencils
