Original artwork description:

Installation made up of 6 individual wall sculptures.
With a texture wood-grain inspired this set is part of my series Woodcuts.
The modeling is created by hand with a cellulose paste on wooden supports.
Once dry, the model is impregnated with epoxy resin to make it harder and resistant.
The entire front surface of the squares is covered with 1000/1000 real silver leaf, chemically oxidized to obtain warm tones and shades ranging from light golden to reddish brown and blue-green in the darker spots.
The oxidation is always different and makes each work a unique and original piece.
The side edges are gilded with imitation gold leaf once again oxidized.
Finally a layer of satin varnish protects the bas-reliefs from future oxidations, dust and UV rays.

14 x 14 x 1.5 cm
5 1/2 x 5 1/2 x 1/2 inches

By italian regulation, in order to export artworks out of the EU we are required to obtain specific export documents. This typically takes up to 2 weeks, the pick-up will be scheduled accordingly.
