People in rough lines and colours. Based in photo collages from my own pictures. Here I’m looking for body language and a few strong lines… the rest merging into the textured background and I want the textures stands out…. Ok, anyone out there want their portrait done…
The paper I use is a traditional handmade mulberry paper from Thailand. It’s a thick parchment like paper, strong yet pliable. I have the paper made to this size to get the deckled edges which adds to the textural effect.
The close up picture is to get a feel for the texture and brush strokes of the painting.
