Original artwork description:

A poppy creation that is both a sculpture and an acrylic painting. A lot of love and painstaking work has gone into this one off artwork, by creating firstly, the sculpted image and then the actual impasto art over the top.

Firstly I begin with an image in my mind. This becomes a modelled up, hand crafted reality on the art board, once dry everything is white! I use the 3d design to then be my guide for my art...a 3d 'map' created from imagination if you like. All of this is framed in an expensive solid wood, shabby chic frame.

As with most of my new 3d work there is a hand sculpted bumble bee in the art...a nod to the plight of our bees that our eco system desperately relies on!

Please understand with the pricing of this one off creation that it is both a sculpted piece which then becomes a painting too and there are many processes to it's creation. A truly special and bespoke item.
