Made up of three distinct sections (framed canvas/bare and white frame/smaller piece of bare and black frame), this artwork juxtaposes black and white to create a striking visual harmony. The central section of the white frame, framed in dense black, irresistibly catches the eye with its enigmatic rectangular opening. On the left, the black rectangular shape, painted on canvas, continues in reality on the right in black frame and evokes a deliberate asymmetry, encouraging contemplation and interpretation.
