3-4 Then South 5-6 (painting) is based on a quote from the shipping forecast, which in my teens I had to listen to most mornings at 5am in the school summer holidays.

My Dad just loved his boat.
If the forecast was good it was a case of cast off the ropes and away we went to the next port of call.
If it was bad, crawl back into bed and hope for better weather the next day.
