A small scale close cropped female portrait study in oils on canvas.
The study has a loose application of impasto and thinner glazed paint continuing my interest in the presentation and concepts of beauty. As we live in world where we are subjected to countless images of over photo-shopped perfection of the portrait. So this work is hopefully a counter balance to this through the use of uneven surface textures and blotches of paint. Creating a sort of in-perfect or flawed beauty.
The painting is titled and signed on the back and also comes with a certificate of authenticity.
The work will be shipped by DHL. rolled in a tube and should arrive within 2-3 days after dispatch.
