Original artwork description:

It was my intention to capture and preserve the essence and unique qualities of a city that is quickly disappearing by the forces of progress. Old architecture often coupled with graffiti, grime, and a specific European sensibility has set the stage for many movies and romantic dreams in the best city in the world.

Some places still exist, while others are on the verge of disappearing, and many others are just memories now and have taken on new existences.

Watercolor, Gouache, Ink, and Graphite on Paper. Painted on Canson watercolor board, using only the finest quality Daniel Smith, Holbein, Winsor & Newton, and Schminke premium quality aquarelle and gouache paints and pigments

Materials used:

watercolor, oil paint, solvent ink, graphite, gouache
