This piece is a digitally edited monoprint which has been digitally printed.
This piece is completely original and comes in its own custom made perspex frame.
Through the digital editing process I am able to emphasise the textural quality of the ink, increase the scale and accentuate the colours.
This piece comes ready to hang in a custom made perspex frame. The coloured perspex frames reflect the playful approach I take when creating each piece. Everything I do is completely unique and different every time; I never create the same piece twice.
The work is sandwiched between two pieces of perspex, with spilt batons on the reverse so it is easily attachable to the wall. Additionally, the split batons are positioned in all four directions on the reverse, so that the viewer has autonomy in the direction it is hung.
This piece of work is inspired and a reflection of the combination of my surroundings and environments, as I equally split my time between the English rural countryside and the geometric cityscape of London.
I work with contrasts in line, colour and form. A sense of harmony is achieved by balancing this series of juxtapositions.
