Original artwork description:

A familiar landscape subject of mine using a new metallic oil paint. This is the first Large Painting I have completed of this subject. Painting is meant to engender a surreal stillness beneath a heavy blue grey cloudless sky. Please note painting will alter in tones and colour according to light and position of viewer. Painting comes pre Varnished and ready to hang. This painting is a follow on work from the previously sold out 'Big Blue' & Big Blue Horizon series painted earlier.

Please note photographs are taken in dull daylight using a canon 450D in 'flash off' mode with absolutely no editing. These are the most honest pictures I can take but due to monitor differences that you view with there may be slight changes especially in the grey scale and hue of the sky on this piece as it will change due to amount of light present.

Painting can be hung unframed if so desired sides of the canvas will be same as sky (blue/grey).

Oil on canvas over professionally made deep edge cross braced frame.
