Acrylic painting of 2 Red Pandas sitting on a branch in a tree. I had no idea I was being watched for quite a while before I looked up and noticed them looking down on me. Early morning light speckled in the background through the leaves. It took a while for my eyes to adjust to the Red Pandas who appeared perfectly camouflaged in the tree. I have zoomed in to bring out their shapes and emphasised their colours. Brushstrokes are expressive giving a painterly approach, alongside strong colour. One Panda looks down while the other is cleaning his little foot.
