Artwork description:

The tools of digital photography now offer such precision that it becomes an understandable temptation to completely control every aspect of picture making. Series Ten challenges the concepts of control and precision and instead allows the creative friction of multiple interacting elements to occur. With these images I initially select materials based on color and texture, add motion and then photograph intuitively as a session of semi-controlled chaos unfolds in front of the camera.

The images are printed 13” x 19” (though other sizes are available upon request) on Hahnemuehle fine arts papers, and all images are rights managed.

fabric
