Abstract collage made with all kinds of personal jottings and memorabilia, some over 50 years old. There is history beneath the surface of the paint. Only here and there you can see glimpses of the past (the collage pieces) come to the foreground. Just like this happens in our head, when memories of long ago surface for a moment and enter your thoughts.
