"Oblivium" is an abstract project that redefines the essence of photography, exploring the connections between inner life and external form.

In Oblivium, the forms and symbols are stripped of their literal meanings, becoming primordial signs and icons. The recurring motif of the horizon serves as an archetype, repeated obsessively in infinite variations, forming a symbolic language that transcends conventional representation.

The photographs employ long exposures to blend water, sky, and earth into fluid gradients of light and shadow. The sea becomes a mist, the clouds a flow of soft tones, and the sand a textured dreamscape. These elements are arranged on a rarefied and fantastical plane, with layers that shift and dissolve, suggesting motion and impermanence.
This approach challenges the photographic medium, transforming it into a vessel for transcendence and abstraction.

"Oblivium" is a courageous exploration of photography as a path to abstraction. The project’s minimalist compositions and evocative palettes create a space where viewers are invited to lose themselves and rediscover their own inner horizons.

The photograph "π-K15”, part of Oblivium project, offers a sublime fusion of minimalism and abstraction.

The composition is delicately layered, with soft horizontal bands dissolving into one another, evoking the quiet rhythm of an eternal seascape. This work transcends traditional landscape photography, abstracting nature into pure light, color, and form.

The palette is ethereal and muted, dominated by shades of lavender, blush pink, and soft beige, interspersed with subtle gradients of grey and pale blue. These tones evoke an atmosphere of tranquility and introspection, as if the viewer were witnessing a dreamlike horizon suspended between reality and the surreal.

The horizon line, though diffused and softened, remains a pivotal element, anchoring the image while simultaneously dissolving into the infinite. The interplay of light and shadow creates a sense of depth and movement, as though the layers of the photograph were breathing with a quiet, rhythmic pulse.
"π-K15" is a poetic meditation on the sublime beauty of simplicity.
