It is a portrait of a bull with a moon in its horns. Thus in ancient Egypt depicted the god Apis. In Egyptian mythology, Apis or Hapis is a sacred bull, god of the moon, fertility and prosperity.
The picture is painted with a metallic tempera, so there is a litmus effect and the picture shimmers under the rays of light. Crescent of the horns are made with a texture paste, covered with tempera and silver potal. The whole picture is covered with acrylic matte-satin varnish.
This artwork is sold frame and ready for hang.
Dimensions 55 x 65 x 3 cm (framed) / 40 x 50 x 0.5 cm (unframed)
