The contact and process was very good. The painting was shipped quickly, but the shipment was then held up at Ukrainian customs through no fault of the artist or Artfinder. I was assured twice that the purchase price would not be paid until the artwork arrived. I was then informed that the shipment had been returned to the artist and that I had the option of cancelling the purchase and getting my money back, or having the painting sent to me again. Naturally, I decided to try again and this time everything went well. After 12 days the parcel arrived, perfectly packaged and exactly as I expected. So everything went really well, apart from the "hitch" at customs. But I think this problem can happen from time to time, especially if you are buying art from Ukraine at the moment.

The only reason I gave 4 stars for communication is because I would have loved to known when the painting was mailed otherwise it was a 5 star experience. The painting is beautiful, it came in a timely manner despite what's happening in Ukraine, and all the packaging was incredible. I will buy from Olha again.

Je suis un fan des tableaux impressionnistes d'Olha Darchuk. Très satisfait de cette nouvelle acquisition et du contact avec l'artiste. Ce tableau, plein de lumière et de belles couleurs, donne un sentiment d'apaisement. Magnifique, comme le reste des oeuvres de la peintre qui mérite d'être connue et reconnue pour son talent.

Post to New Zealand from Ukraine takes time given the on-going challenges of both Covid and conflict. However, the wait was very much worthwhile when this intriguing piece arrived around 7 weeks after it had been dispatched. Despite its long journey time, it arrived secure and undamaged - testament to its excellent packaging. There is richness to both the colours and textures with markedly differing appearances as the light changes during the course of a day. Given the contrasting appearances in different qualities of light, I have yet to determine how to frame and where best to display this piece but I am enjoying siting it in different locations around the house each day and weighing up where best it would be displayed.

Perfect composition for my love of my husband who passed away a year ago he loved holidays at the beach abroad and I keep a Rose next to his picture so I had to have this art work as it really spoke to me thank you so much. The colours are wonderful and reflect the joys we had together

This painting is absolutely beautiful, it is one of my favorites! It will not be hung but permanently displayed on a Easel. I purchased it for my home in Lake Tahoe, I could not be happier it looks like it was painted for there. I am waiting for the easel and once I receive it I will display a photo.

The art is exactly what I expected. Beautiful piece. Arrived securely packaged and in a fair time frame. My only issue is that the tracking number never updated - it showed as ready to ship the entire time, even after I received it. This is not the seller's issue though. I hope the seller continues to be able to contribute to the art world for years to come.

Lady Autumn is spectacular. The piece is even more beautiful in person than could be captured in the photographs. I was a little anxious awaiting the painting. It was my first time buying on this site and from Olha. Olha was exceptionally responsive and an absolute delight. The experience with both Olha and Artworks was exceptional. I will be adding many more pieces to my collection through Artworks. A number of those will be Olha’s. She conveys such an uplifting feeling with her use of color and light. I highly recommend Artworks. And if you are drawn to a piece by Olha, don’t hesitate … you will not be disappointed!

We are absolutely delighted with our painting (A Merry Company of Parrots). It’s such a joyful picture by a very skilled artist. It brightens up our dining room perfectly. The picture was very well packaged and protected for travel. Delivery did take longer than we expected (we ordered it on 18th April and it arrived on 8th June) but once we contacted her, Olha quickly responded to explain it was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which is very understandable, and also provided us with a link to the parcel tracking. Overall we’re very satisfied customers and are very pleased with our lovely painting.

Painting received very well-wrapped and secure. No communication unlike most artists. And no note or certificate of authenticity. Nothing personal at all but painting is exactly as pictured. Buying a painting and selling one is a lot more personal than most transactions but this was not. Maybe I have been spoiled by the friendliness of other artists - no complaints though and happy with my art work.

Very happy with this purchase and the process. Was first Artfinder purchase for me. Enjoyed the ability to scroll through many offerings quickly, and sort by artist, style, media, colors, price, size, etc. I was kept apprised of the artwork's shipping schedule, received it in very good shape in about two weeks (from the Ukraine), and was properly billed. I like the idea that artists get to keep a larger portion of the selling price than with traditional galleries. Overall, I would recommend Artfinder to my friends and family.

This company sells reproduction art. NOT originals. And you will not be receiving the piece you see represented. You will receive a poor copy of it. I was so excited to receive the art I had chosen, waiting with anticipation for the beauty of the image I had seen when I decided to purchase. When it arrived, something seemed off. So I began to compare the image represented online with the image I had received. Color, brush strokes, the application of the paint, the signature of the artist, EVERYTHING in the painting revealed the signs of duplication. I was shocked and saddened to realize I would be sold a duplicate and led to believe it was an original.

The description said the painting was oil on canvas, though it is actually on board and the paint, much of it applied with a knife, looks more like acrylic to me. However, the colours are spectacular and I am very pleased.
